All all, looking for feedback for the new line of Skechers golf shoes.

Looking at either the GO Golf tour elite or GO Golf pro 2.

Stewy have a look at mygolfspy. They seem to be highly recommended. I haven't any personal experience though

Given the choice of the two Stewy ......... I'd go for the Golf Pro 2's.

They are basically from the look of them, just the same as Ecco's (I've got a couple of pairs of Ecco's that I've had for 5 years).

For winter golf, your feet will get wet in them, and the ones without spikes (tour elite), won't handle soft wet ground too well, in terms of providing a solid footing for swinging a club ..... so spikes are the way to go if you want to use them as dedicated golf shoes, particularly through winter.

If you don't want to change shoes between the course and home, however, then go the spikeless tour elite. The nipples on the bottom of the soles will wear down eventually, mine are pretty much non-existent now in places, but I wear them as everyday runners, and actually don't use them for golf.

Come summer the spikeless ones will be good for golf though, so it depends on if you want a year round golf shoe, or just one for firmer ground.

Hope this helps ..... :)

I have several pairs of Skechers casual/running shoes and they are super comfortable and well made. The great thing is that they are consistent in sizing across all styles. I bought through Amazon at a significant discount.

Like Gaz, I prefer Ecco leather golf shoes at this time of year. Mine are spike less and not wearing down quickly at all.

Sizing and fit? Similar to FJ or Ecco?

Never tried ECCO

Probably a touch on the narrow side I had to go up a size to get a comfortable width
