I've caddied for Aaron Cox in pro events several times over the years and both Garth and I helped him finish his apprenticeship after he was stranded in his second year.

The head pro suddenly left and he had to find a new pro to finish his time.

Yes, he is a very active young man that puts fizz into his work and loves what he does but probably shouldn't be judged by one or two instances !

I'm reminded of the old adage, "if you have nothing nice to say about someone, then best not to say anything at all" ( from the Greek philosopher - Slanderopolous 54 BC )

I've known Coxy for 15 years or so now and I'm sincerely glad to call him a good friend.

Jon...

More than happy for you both.

I call it as I saw it.

Douchebag was on the money.

Maybe Coxy should take your sage advice rather than going off his nut at blokes that didn't even step foot in a bunker

delayed response.  i'm a member there.

latest word is we have about 20 spots left for 5 day members ( 6 & 7 days are full apparently)

course has held up pretty well so far.  but not a lot of rain lately.  grass obviously going dormant now.  haven't been hit by the heavy fog forcing no play like eastern has been the last month which has been good.

Two mates have joined up as 7 Day members in the last two days, so 7 day intake certainly isn't full.

Not that I'm a stickler for spelling but maybe we can at least get the name of the golf club right in the thread title

Rob,

Someone that I know who reads this forum, who is also a member at Eastern GC same as myself, is curious about how many

golf clubs you've been a member of. How many is it now including Gardiners Run?

Nick.

Hi Nick

How is that relevant to anything?

You can go and read my thread, it is all very well documented in there.

Or you could go through my Golflink number. It's in there to.

Not sure i know a Nick at Eastern, so not sure why you care about me?

To be honest I personally couldn't give a rat's tossbag, it's just that a member I know (Ray) has been rabbiting on about the number of clubs you've been at, so it was just that one question I had for you.

One went in and loaded up on Monday when he found out he could pay month to month....the other rang up today and sorted it over the phone. I'd suggest a phone call is in order from your mate.
