This time of year? Good. Some of the mud is beginning to come up on the fairways, greens still good, and the bunkers are all in good condition. Due to the design and routing some of the back 9 holes are in need of some extra drainage, but all in all holds up ok.
Depending on rain fall, should manage to be playable enough throughout winter.
I was out there last week. Also at Waterford Valley, and similar there. More wets spots off the greens in run off area's at Waterford Valley, and low points on some fairways, casual water (If you put enough pressure on the turf, it puddled).

Aaron?Rob our old pro from Caboolture is the pro there, been there for nearly three years I reckon. Have you had a chat to him?? Being a relatively new course, it still may be settling in. Looking at the Pics online of it it appears a great track
Yeah met him a few times.
At last years OOM, he went crazy at everyone over bunker raking
Spoke to him for a while on Saturday. Bloody friendly guy

Yeah he is protective of the course!!!! He got into Ken Pampling one day, Ken was a life member ' for driving to close to a green. Hahahaha
He was giving our group a talking to about the bunkers even though none of us were in them on that hole, and he was in our way when we were playing our shots into the green.
Over the top is an understatement.

delayed response. i'm a member there.
latest word is we have about 20 spots left for 5 day members ( 6 & 7 days are full apparently)
course has held up pretty well so far. but not a lot of rain lately. grass obviously going dormant now. haven't been hit by the heavy fog forcing no play like eastern has been the last month which has been good.

The word "douchebag" comes to mind.
I've caddied for Aaron Cox in pro events several times over the years and both Garth and I helped him finish his apprenticeship after he was stranded in his second year.
The head pro suddenly left and he had to find a new pro to finish his time.
Yes, he is a very active young man that puts fizz into his work and loves what he does but probably shouldn't be judged by one or two instances !
I'm reminded of the old adage, "if you have nothing nice to say about someone, then best not to say anything at all" ( from the Greek philosopher - Slanderopolous 54 BC )
I've known Coxy for 15 years or so now and I'm sincerely glad to call him a good friend.
Jon...
