Actually I believe your bad manners and lack of etiquette were seriously over the top. Yesterday at RM the Marshall was more than complimentary on our pace of play. Ink may have a bit to say about my chatting around the tee but we were behind the group of 4 in front of us the entire round. You need to get a bigger dose of nicorette in that inhaler :D

Micky boy. In all honesty, you are a slow player. You may not realise it but if you have been told multiple times by multiple people, you may want to take heed at some point?

Its not an indictment on your character and I would happily play golf with you any day, just need to hurry the F up some times, and be aware enough to navigate your way around a course.

It worked out alright on Sunday, and pushing you along saved the group about half an hour, which equates to about a minute and a half per hole. Not a lot of time in isolation but spread across 18 holes, it adds up. All of us in your group pay special attention to your shots in the event that if it goes astray, we at least have a clue where your ball may have landed.

Just asking you to be mindful buddy.

And this, my friends, is exactly why slow play will never be solved. Someone thinks another person is slow, the other person disagrees and doesn't do anything about it. It then just becomes known that a certain player is slow and he gets put in the last group of every field he plays in.

Always someone else's fault.

Appreciate the effort you guys go to helpme keep track of my ball. I do try my best to always be ready to play my shot when its my turn. I guess I could walk faster between tees? I did pick up more than once on Sunday before I had used all my shots to try and not hold anyone up.
No one I have ever played with besides OB has told me on course during a comp I was too slow until Sunday.

Whatever you do, you do to yourself

Really? Quite surprised you havent been told. Picking up earlier than you should is a no no. Dont ever do that. Ive been guilty of not doing the walk of shame and just wiping a hole with that said. Usually when the round isnt heading in the right direction.

The wasted time is not just tied in with the pace of your stride. Slow players are slow in readying for their shot. Spend too much time on their scorecard or phone. Parking their carts in the wrong places and the list goes on.

I don't recall ever telling you, but I did witness Paul say "FFS just get on with it" while we were playing at Emerald. The multiple waggles were driving him crazy. Have we played together since? Maybe at Settler's?

Your waggles have been mentioned quite infrequently of late. This suggests that you may now be somewhat quicker than previously.

I play with a wide variety variously skilled golfers. High handicappers tend to be a bit slow because of the large number of shots and often spend time looking for wayward balls. Some low handicappers can be quite slow because of the amount of time they spend analysing their putts from many angles.

Happy to play with you again Mick and, if requested, I could provide a report on your speed of play.

Never pick up before you've used all your shots. You have every right to use all of them. You might just sink one fromm 100m out.

Mick, remember when we played Eastern at Doncaster as guests of Ruusssssss?
We were last group of and finished 45 mins after the group in front.
It was mentioned several times that day for you to get a wriggle on.

That was brutal.

You are a great bloke, but you (were) are slow
