Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy books are a really fun and weird ride

Brilliant series of books. I read them all about 30 years ago. He's got an extraordinary imagination has Douglas Adams.

A Brief History of Time (From the big bang to black holes) - Stephen Hawking

I can't wait to see how it all turns out! :)

Hmmmm, doesn't end well methinks :(

That is a great read though, from an extraordinary mind as well.

William McGuiness has written some excellent memoirs. Very funny reads about bog standard Aussie life back in the day. He can certainly tell a yarn. Cricket Kings is another of his that is purely fictional. Funny as.

Also like Stephen Fry's autobiographies. 3 or 4 of them now.

Another +1 for Feist. Great stories by a prolific writer. Jimmy the Hand is probably my favourite character of all time, closely followed by Nakor

Want an orange?

I got the magician signed by him about 15 years ago.

Also enjoyed the Servant of the Empire series that he co-wrote as well.
