Used to be a huge reader of fantasy novels. Now I play golf.

Read Game of Thrones many years ago.

Raymond E Feist is one of my alltime favourite authors.

Terry Brooks
Terry Goodkind
Anne McCaffrey
David Gemmell
Davif Eddings
Robert Jordan

Thetr are many more.

Read them all. Never much of a Goodkind fan.

Best Terry is Pratchett - super funny and insightful at the same time

Feist was a genius, as was Gemmell

Robert Jordan - wow, just wish he'd survived to finish it

Michael Moorcock is good if you want something a little different

My all time favourite book is The Magician by Feist.

I couldnt tell you how many times i have read it, but im actually on my 4th copy, as the first 3 have fallen apart due to usage.
I have all the books in that series, all in terrible condition.

The Serpentwar Saga is also an excellent read

Michael Moorcock is pretty good. history of The Runestaff is great

Anyything by Katherine Kerr is excellent.

David Eddings Begariad Series is brilliant

Modern Engineering Mathematics by Glyn James. I only started reading it about 4 months ago, but I've hardly put it down since.

I really enjoyed David Eddings Elenium series too - good fun

Seems like we have the somilar tastes Rob - love Fiest, all of those books in the world of the Magician

The Julian May books are excellent - sort of sci fi fantasy

Stephen Donaldson is a brilliant writer - his original two Thomas Covenant trilogies are extraordinary

Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy books are a really fun and weird ride

Probably don't need to mention The Hobbit and Lord or the Rings trilogy - but it really is that good

On a different note I love Agatha Christie, and I have all of the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child.

Another +1 for Feist. Great stories by a prolific writer. Jimmy the Hand is probably my favourite character of all time, closely followed by Nakor
