Wait...what?....when does a thread about a putter become a thread about wine?....bugger off all you winos

It's not a thread about a putter, it's a thread about threads.

Keep up muggy, I mean, you started the thread...

I'm about to undertake a minor Reno to Chez Mouldy. Naturally the storage and serving of wine is a focus point. A couple of must have appliances come to mind.
For storage you really need a constant temperature around 14 deg. Something like this takes care of your treasured possessions. An aesthetic presentation style of shelving stores 12 doz or so per unit.

As Commish points out, the serving temperature varies quite markedly between wine varieties. This can be achieved quite simply with the following equipment.

With the spare change you can buy a car to drive down to Dan Murphy.

But will the car have soft close shelves?

I'm with you by the way I had what I considered a decent wine collection at one stage but DM's have made the need to carry such quantities a null conversation for me. Plus I'm convinced they store it better than I ever did.

If you want a beer and wine fridge it will be extra as you need to have multiple temperature zones.
