Wifey has requested that I start taking days off work to play golf with her - how good is that.

Downer is that she wants only new clubs.  Hence looking for only new or near to new.

What have you got community?

Happy to look at bits and pieces to build a set - driver, hybrids, irons, wedges, putter and bag.

I am Melbourne based, so would prefer not to ship from interstate, unless the price is right.

Budget $300.

I've got a half set that I bought for the kids Mark...full size...I reckon they'd do the job.

Needs a driver, but has putter, etc.

Winner Stink's 3 Club Challenge 2015 | Winner C grade OOM The Sands 2016

Honestly, if she is just starting out, then the quality of the clubs is not going to be a major issue, but I can understand that she would want to feel like a "real golfer" and have a decently new set to try her arm with.

If Goldy's set doesn't work out for you, I would look on gumtree or similar.  Plenty of almost new women's sets on there.

I've mentioned this before on this site but I have helped two different women purchase their first golf sets.

One set I would describe as adequate and it cost $50

The second I would describe at "spiffing" and it cost $100

Both from Cash Converters, for whatever reason left handed clubs and women's clubs are dirt cheap there.

Your $300 would go a long way there.

I've got new package ladies sets but you'd have to raise the budget to $400 +

Could make her something with components but cost probably wouldn't be any cheaper ?

Thanks Jon, but the budget is pretty firm.

Please check for me JRG.  If they are available send me a PM and I'll pass on my email address. I know wifey will want to see if the colour suits her.
