My favourites up that way are:

Noosa-Tewantin

Noosa Springs

Pelican Waters

Twin Waters is also worth a hit too, but think it's a little overpriced.

Pelican is a good course.

The new Maroochydore course, relocated out to Bli Bli, is a good course too. Bit sparse on the tree front ATM, but, good overall layout and design.

Caloundra is an OK course too. But, can be busy and hard to get on ... STAY AWAY from monthly medal, or say goodbye to 6 or 7 hours. YES, no joke. IT IS RIDICULOUS how slow they let the old members play.

Beerwah is good value for money. Nice country feeling.

Headland at Buderim, is  OK, but busy and can be hard to get onto, and SLOW around monthly medal comps too.

Also, watch the 'mid week' comps, they can be SLOW due to the older members who generally play in them.

Agree with Hack re the Maroochydore course; this is still maturing but nonetheless an excellent track. A bit far from Mooloolaba but I'd try and have a hit at Tewantin - cheap, but always nicely conditioned.
