That's amazing Michael, way more convincing than those just playing locally...and you only needed one ball?

I have massive balls
And after reading this thread I'm renaming my balls
Fort & eh?
Soft feel
Nice touch round the rough
good check
Not as long as when I was younger but that's the trade off with soft balls.
I will prolly game my balls for the rest if my life

It's a shame Forte have decided to use a marketing tactic like this......

As Boz said, their TPS ball is great.

It performs as well as the pro v I had played for years prior, but has a great feel due to low compression.

I bought 6 dozen of them when they had a 25% off promotion, and using the bulk discount when you buy 6 dozen they worked out to about $30 per dozen, which I thought was good value.

I don't mind the cover, I quite like the sticky urethane feel to the cover.

All that said, still puzzled why they choose to use this marketing tactic (offered a free dozen to anyone that came on here or Ozgolf and posted a positive review)

They clearly don't understand the mentality of Aus golf forums, or the perceived intelligence levels of members

I used a TPS ball last Sunday and shot 1 over 73 off the stick. Not bad for a chopper like me.

Performance for me is very similar to my usual gamer Pro V1.

Distance, feel and spin etc.

A good ball if it suits your game albeit at a premium price.

I hear Chuck Norris officially endorses these balls. They are the only material objects that have ever survived his roundhouse kicks to the face.

I  wonder if OB has an opinion. Likely to be quite unique.

He'd be too tight to buy any. Maybe if he found one, he might use one. Probably not stopping him having an opinion though. ;-))

I feel like I must be missing out given the great reviews this product is getting.  I ordered the sample and they were delivered, after which they were promptly stolen off the coffee table by the four legged children and spirited away to the back yard for a good play.  From observation they are reasonably hardwearing and don't show too many bite marks.
