Took the Facebook offer and was sent two of the Forté SS2 Soft.
At first was a bit dubious, that was until my first drive. Then my approach, followed by a great feel off the putter.
I have since ordered a box and do see me changing anytime soon. Longer drives and a better feel all 'round.

I got a couple of them a while ago. They looked remarkably like a golf ball, so that was a plus.

Perhaps not surprisingly they went the same distance as every other golf ball I've ever hit and distance was 100% down to the strike achieved by the muppet swinging the club.

I have not ordered any more because I can buy any number of balls (that are on special), from any number of local outlets and they all achieve exactly the same results.

Woohoo competition is every consumers friend

I tried the ss2 soft, Tour Performance S Ball and The Apex 6 ball from Forte Golf.
Really liked the feel of the Tour ball S and the Ss2 ball. I got spin off full shots in and check around the greens. Driver went long as well and the feel off the putter was great for me. I normally play Chrome Soft but could see myself using either of these 2 balls. Try them out.

I got a couple of the Forte balls delivered a while ago. (Tour variety I believe)

In terms of distance they did perfectly well. They landed from the Supplier into my letterbox, and presumably just dropped and stopped, cause there they were when I got home from work one evening.

In terms of accuracy they are just brilliant, cause they found my address without ever having been there before. (How good is that??)

They are remarkably easy to find too.

I spotted the little box in one of the golf drawers out in the garage on the weekend just gone, and I've had em for months now.

I may even consider using them soon, as I'm slowly running out of "warm up balls" for my range sessions pre round. (I just belt them and then leave em laying out there, for others to "go fetch" if they want)

So ... in terms of a review ..... so far they have been faultless, and I'd also highly recommend them. :)

Weeti,

Any, and all of my reviews, are completely independent (usually of merit).

Twood be nice though to get paid for reviews, as I reckon I could review the shite out of most things, given the merest hint of fiscal encouragement.

I played the Forte SS2 ball a few weeks ago.  It was sent to me as a trial.  I was very happy with it and will definitely be playing it again.  Playing off 7, I shot 78 (par72) in windy conditions.

The ball held up well in the wind.  Was knocked down a bit whilst playing down wind but no more than was expected.

The ball had consistent and predictable spin through all clubs.  There is no reason that I wouldn't play this ball again

The Tour Performance S has some merit ,,,, the price needs an adjustment though and

I would like to see a new paint and lacquer finish used by Foremost on their balls.

Apparently it the duck's nuts, based on what I've been reading.

When I was in China on the All-Australian Golf team, I just loved playing golf with my Forte golf ball.
