The reason why that happens has to do with cookies becoming corrupted on the user’s machine (smartphone, computer, tablet etc.),
The solution is to clear the browser cache: in particular, cached cookies need to be cleared.
How this is done is different for each browser/OS, so the users should refer to the official documentation of the browser they are using.
In addition, in pretty much any browser, upon clearing the cache the user will be asked what they want to delete (history, cookies, passwords, etc.): they just need to select cookies and nothing else is needed.
This way, the users will not lose other data such as their browsing history or their saved passwords.
