The yankee ones missed Sergios ball hit the stick on 15. After a thousand replays it was plain to see, eventually IBF piped up pointing it out and the others said "it well may have""...HELLOOOOO!

Yeah that frustrated me at the time as well.

The reason being was the Aus coverage would come back quicker than the US coverage would from Commercial break.

They were just filling time until the commentators came back live for the US Coverage.

It is ridiculous the amount of golf vs ad's the US put up with.

Interesting theory. You might want to investigate the CBS contract with ANGC.

You only have to read through the threads on WRX to see how much they put up with week to week and the amount of complaints on there about it.

Also not sure what theory you mean when even they(Aussie commentators) during the broadcast mentioned a few times they were waiting for the host broadcaster came back?

Augusta National holds CBS to 56 minutes of golf and 4 minutes of commercials per hour in the USA and the contract is for 1 year.

That's around half the amount ads in a normal tournament but overseas networks can decide how many ads they show so can drop in and out of the CBS telecast.

Augusta National has their own sponsors (IBM, AT&T and Mercedes-Benz) whose ads are the only ones run by CBS,
