That there looks desperately unlucky........

problem is Being fixed as we speak, should have new ones ready for Sands game.

It is very important that everyone in last groups collect these at games.

You need to actually get people to listen 1st.
Id suggest you remind the last gruop of each 9.

Southern prolly still have them

If you were listening I did remind the last group off each 9 it was up to them. Because Mouldy would have to go out and find them. (Which didn't happen at Southern.)

Are you guys talking about Southern or Sandhurst?

If you meant Sandhurst, I was in the last group off the 1st.  I missed Micky's spiel because it wasn't held on time. But I picked up all the markers from the back nine because it was bloody obvious that it had to be done.

Think you missed the point
I'm speaking of actually approaching the last gruop and having a quiet word along the lines of "hey you lot don't forget the markers on the front 9 when you come in"
Then we have at least 4 people on the same page.
As opposed to some blah blah stuff to a gruop of people who clearly (along with me) never heard a word you said,

Furthermore
Evidence (pace of play, provisionals etc etc) shows that Nobody actually listens to Geoff.

Exactly, and weld a 3" nail on the back.

Your theory has a few flaws
For eg there many ways to "weld a nail"

Arc
Tig
Mig
Brass
Oxy

You could prolly rule out mig, tig and arc due to lack of material thickness & Current issues (parent material to thin)
Prolly Brasse it or oxy fusion weld it.

Issue now is the heat would burn off the protective zinc & lead coating in the "galv sheet" and accelerate rust.

A lot of trouble.

In the past I have used alloy plate & extrusion.
Easy to work with and won't rust.
No welding reqd just stainless steel pop rivets.

I guess what I'm saying is it's not as simple as "welding a nail on it"

I've used welded ones, they're fine.
No, I'm unaware of what technique was utilised. Not my problem.
