Gaz has a love/ hate thing going on for the Frog...he loves to express his hatred.

Accept the fact that every non-sandbelt course in Melbourne would be pretty wet today, and that yes, the greens were cored last week...and wet sand isn't fun to putt on.

I'm sure Beacy was bone dry and the greens 12 on the stimp....

I love the frog, I shoot the worst there out of most other courses, but it's so pretty :D Have been +6 through the first 3 holes on too many occasions until I get my tempo right. For some reason I can never hit the 3rd fairway. Don't know if its the visual or the teebox angle, or i'm just plain bad.

The last time I played BeaconHills I couldnt walk for weeks afterwards. Pretty sure one of the hills there I had 3 simultaneous heart attacks before I reached the top of the hill :D

I'm tipping that was the 14th.

The third at the frog has been known to hypnotise me at times. Especially that damn tree.

Yep I'm not a great rap for that tee shot. Hmmm the frog sounds a little rough at the moment...wide berth for a while?

I hope within a couple of weeks the greens are back to playable. All courses go through it, the old "1 step back for 2 steps forward" approach. The fairways I think suffered because of the hot spell last month and all of summer followed by a huge drenching Monday night. Give it a couple of weeks of lighter rain and the moisture should go deeper instead of pooling on the fairways.

They probably picked the right time to core with the upcoming weather, but I'm certainly not an expert green keeper!

Edit because I forgot I played last on Tuesday, not Sunday, I love public holiday golf.

I thought an easy FGF off the right hand side would suit you nicely Frank? -_-

Nah, that big tree on the right catches me most times.   Our game there at the OOM I started it straight to miss the tree and ...faded it into the bunker.   Still got par though...just sayin'.   ;)    May be that's the way to play it???  B)
