I can count the number of times I've had to use it on one hand, but the little book of the rules of golf has not left my bag.

I have it on my phone. It's a winner

Question: When would you prefer to have your worst hole of a round?

First hole or last hole?

First hole - just brush it off and move on

When it's lasts hole it leaves a bitter taste - and can ruin what would have been a good round

Define "worst".

If it was a double figure hole, it doesn't matter where in the round it happened, because it farked the whole round anyway.

If it was just a stableford wipe, too bad. Shithappens.

First .......  as it gives you a chance to recover. (Just put it down to rusty swings, or no idea of the green's speed etc, etc)

If it was the last hole, then you have no way to recover.

Depends if it is the first hole on your back nine or the last hole on your first nine, if this is the case, it is a double bogey and a par

Nowhere is there a mention of impaling yourself on a tee marker.

Pity.

I will have to disagree sir.
Started on 8 this day and had 3 points in 3 holes.
I've done this a lot recently, under 5 in 3-4 holes and finish with over 35.

I also had 3 points in 3 holes last Sunday and finished with 36. 4 over after 2 and played the next 16 square with the card.
