Out of curiosity I looked up the cost of the new Taylormade P770 irons. Just about fell over ... RRP AU$329 per iron!!!!!

Obviously trying to compete with PXG (even though I have no idea of what PXG irons cost but guessing they are around that ball park)

For that money I'll have a set of new Epons please

You might feel like your swing looks like an elegant swan floating on a calm lake with the sun glistening down and creating beautiful light reflections on the water,

But it more than likely looks like a drowning elephant.

I think you mean the P750 Irons.

The P770 Irons are cheaper.

The 750's are a limited release release, hence tbe price.

Taylormade really should give up trying to make irons I reckon. (The same as Mizuno should stop trying to make drivers).

Their irons never look good, they always just look chunky and "busy".

Just my thoughts though ....

Did you ever hit the MX 560 from a few years ago?

I had one .......  it was like grabbing a baseball bat and taking 50m run up and then belting it into an empty coke can, such was the incredibly loud and tinny sound it made.

The friggin thing should have been sold with a pair of ear muffs, or at least a warning sticker about possible deafness being a result of actually using it as intended.

It was just absolutely shocking ....... :(

I like the TM gear. Ran a set of R11 for a few years , have the M1 and M2 driver and 3 wood, M2 irons. No complaints here,

Just my thoughts though ....

The TM gear is fine but thankfully we are not limited to their products... plenty of choice

I have been a titleist loyalist for 20 years, and in recent years played the different ap2 offerings.

I recently made the switch the the RSI2s and they go higher, longer and are easier to hit.

Makes sense to me!

Had a set of TaylorMade RAC irons once .... they were utter **** ....no balance, weird offset progression and the COGs were all over the place ..

... maybe I just got lucky with my set ...
