Another great win by Freo....they definitely have a "never give up" attitude this year.

4 wins after being behind at 3/4 time and then....yesterday.

And if the crunch on Walters in the last quarter wasn't in the back....wtf was it?

I hate to say it but.....Ross Lyon has to go.

He's got Fyfe and Sandilands back, plus some "prized" recruits, McCarthy, Kerstan, B' Hill and Hameling......and they're getting their backsides spanked.

Bite the bullet Freo, forget about the long contract, pay him out so he can take Zac Dawson and get the fcuk out of WA.

Changed your tune since April, Mug ;)

In my defence......I have said numerous times they had to stop picking Zac Dawson....look what has happened since he was dropped (after round 2)

Such bitterness from a man who supports a club clearly in decline. How did it go with the "Shorts" Sponsor on the weekend? The Major Sponsor just went belly up. Maybe the M&M Guernsey will make a comeback?

That ladder was from 2016 and doesn't reflect bums on seats anyway.

North are in crisis mode on and off the field. No wonder Brayshaw bailed out.

Worst attendances since 1992 !

Coming off the lowest of bases

On the field Carlton have managed the fewest points for in the comp by quite some margin thus far.
Even Brisbane have a more potent offence.
That's a scary thought.

You must be employing a rolling maul game plan to pump out that kind of ineptitude

I must be getting old, as I'm starting to "get over" all of this "my team is better than your team" rubbish.

There are a myriad of teams and clubs that are woeful, and quite often those change from one week to the next.

The AFL have done a wonderful job to date, of levelling the playing field and bringing everyone down to the lowest common denominator.

Sadly that means that mediocrity now abounds in the game, and we are being conditioned by the AFL to seeing poor skills from lots of guys who 10 years ago ......  wouldn't have gotten a game in the two's.  :(

I agree on the mediocrity G. Imagine if The VFL remained just thst. 12 teams in Victoria. Probably only worth $600M a year to television and radio and the raffle of a Premiership to whoever paid for the best players and Coach. If omly...

when any chump can win a Rising Star in his very first year, it says a lot against the so called veterans or elites playing the comp, there is something very wrong.

each year it seems all of the winners have been teenage kids with less than 10 or so games at the start of the year, how can these boys be better than the 'elites'

One look at goal kicking will tell you, that despite clubs now having a myriad of coaches, more scoring options in better positions, nothing has improved in that area, and in fact ...... it's going backwards since 2005 when accuracy was at 55%.

Not only that, but conditions for kicking have never been better, some games are played indoors, the grounds these days are pristine, and most of them have large grandstands at either end to provide shelter from the effects of the wind.

It's the Sandringham Dragons' fault

Clearly they're just churning out sub standard kids year in, year out.

Back in my day you got drafted because you could smash 12 cans and half a pack of darts before training and still cruise through circle work.

Bloody kids today, too many safe spaces and not enough clips around the ear for mine.

You could easily argue teams are better at defending these days, meaning shots at goal are taken from harder spots on the ground.

You don't often see a forward one out in the goal square these days.
