Would be Sat/Sun only for me and Zoo.  Too cost prohibitive for the full shebang.  $3K+ makes for a very expensive Nats.

I might have said this before; I've got a golf trip there next February for the Aust Championships....it looks like it's going to be quite expensive.   I'm not sure how much that will cost but not sure about twice in one year.   It may come down to just the weekend, also

Interested in the weekend rounds. Might even be able to organise some oysters from the in laws oyster farm. I'm overdue to do some quality control.

Very fond memories of some oysters we picked up on the way back from Port Arthur to Hobart. So so fresh and a lovely Reisling from the other end of the island to complement them.

How much more expensive is the weekend compared to normal rotation at Nationals when you travel interstate?

Estimating totals QLD costs around $1000 and Vic $600-700 (bargain accommodation)

Im still keen to do Barnbougle & King island (4) tracks if a group is going.
Seems my regular golf explorer mates are a bit soft on windswept courses :)

The general vibe I get from people is 50/50 so may not be best to do for Nationals. Then if we do as a mid year one- may be cost prohibitive to do along with Nationals in the same year!

I'm happy to do it on a singular basis as a one off adventure every couple of years. To me, the Nats is the Nats and should remain as it is.
