I hope no one from the isg community was on the plane that crashed this morning as it was heading to a renowned golf destination of king island.

Very bad

Lucky that it didn't hit a busy areas

Tragic for those on the plan and their loved ones

 

It actually hit a large factory outlet centre...the only fortunate thing was that it was before it was open for business, and apparently no one on the ground was killed.

 

But it's been a potential disaster dating back to the 70s when a light plane crashed into a nearby house, killing all bar one of the occupants.

 

It used to be Melbourne's main airport until the late 60s/early 70s when Tullamarine opened...essentially, in the middle of suburbia.

Seriously sad news for those involved and their loved ones left behind. You start the day off with excitement for the impending adventure and now all gone in an instant.

Looks like ti may have been American tourists.... having the lifetime trip to Aus and ends in tragedy. Feel sorry for their families!

terribly sad news , rest in peace my friends from the golfing fraternity and my sincere condolences to their friends and family of those that lost their lives this morning
