.204 is a good solid effort.  Maybe even high score for the night.

I'm a big fan, thought his two wins were some of the finest achievements in Australian golf.
But how on earth can you expect to make cuts when you're getting that hammered on a Thursday night?
Not to mention the stupidity of driving while that drunk.
Hope it is sheer stupidity and doesn't reflect some darker issues returning

Can we all please tread carefully in this thread.

I can not go into any details but we all know Bowdo's past.

While there is no excuse for drink driving, let's all just hope he is ok.

Could not agree more....
One hopes that it wasn't a desperate cry for help....
Thankfully he is safe and nobody was harmed whilst he was driving.....
I'm not making any excuses for his actions but for ffs RTL if you still look in here you know what you you need to do...

+1

Don't know if there was a reason.

Don't care if there was a reason.

Just know that people do care.

I like a drink... you like a drink.. FFS we all like a drink.  I've done some dumb things in my life while on the drink and as a retired cop, some of those things in retrospect I am not overly proud of.  I used alcohol as a prop in so many ways to deal with issues that could have been dealt with in other ways.  I truly hope that Bowdo is not in that space at present.  If he is... PM me buddy, cause I cannot solve your problems, but I can sure as hell empathise with what you may be going through and possibly assist with an alternate or 10.  Different situations do not necessarily need different solutions.

PS... still love an ale, a red. a white a liqueur every now and then ( got over the spirits) but not for the same reasons.

He needs to read this and know that we on ISG are there if he needs us.  You have the details... make it happen.
