So over the 4 games on the weekend, the average was 52 points per game. You call that entertaining? Auskick has higher scoring games than that.

Apparently not. According to Sundays TV ratings, 159000 watched a bastardized version of NRL compared to 110000 that watched the ladies struggle to score 30points. Will be interesting to see how they fair when the real stuff kicks off (in both leagues). I will be very surprised if they attract more than park footy crowds as that's pretty much the standard.

I found it to be quite attractive football to watch.

It is pointless to compare style to the men's game at the moment because you are comparing full time footballers with years of pre-seasons and training (together with an unmatched development stream from juniors in to the game) with people who are playing on the weekend and have just gone through their first dedicated pre-season.

It will be interesting to see how the style develops as they improve in fitness and start to see the benefits of the investment in the game.

For now it feels to me like watching "traditional" footy which you used to see at suburban grounds when they still used them.

I notice nobody has come and said the obvious, but some of these woman are extremely attractive.

Sexy, fit young ladies running around a footy field kicking a ball with the occasional body contact and little bit of wrestling....... what's not to like??

Sure the skill level ain't that great, but is that really such a big deal??

As a married man, with 2 young kids who doesn't get around the pub/club seen anymore I'll continue to watch and enjoy..... :D :D

Some wet weather games wouldn't go astray though!! ;) :P

Begs the question as to why jelly wrestling isn't receiving the same level of hype.
Fit, young girls who do it part time and with no real skill.
It's pretty much the same, minus the free admission and heavy media coverage
