I've been coerced into taking a 3 night cruise from Adelaide to Melbourne at the end of Feb. The cruise includes an 8 hour stop-over at Kangaroo Island. Day excursions are all over $300.

I'm wondering if it's worthwhile taking my clubs along. Can anyone tell me what golfing is like there. There are plenty of reports about a 'proposed' $30 million course on the island but real facts seem to be quite scant.

Not looking promising, I called them but Optus says the number has been discontinued !?
