David Milne left Joondalup about 4-5 months ago

Thanks did he really? Did the whole program leave?  Where did they go?

Cheers for the feedback guys. Decided on seeking out Paul Smith after plenty of research. Got lucky on timing with him and I'm rapt with the progress already.

I think he's in Malaysia.

I just had a few emails with him- they opted not to renew lease at Joondalup and will hold classes at various places in Perth as they require them to. Also they opened an academy in Indonesia.

Paul Smith is good, can teach on several levels.

You could also do well with Ritchie Smith (not related to Paul I dont think) from Melville Glades. He is Minjee Lee's coach (and he coaches her brother) and has had a lot of success with different programs he ran. He is also able to teach at different levels, just cos he coaches a top LPGA player, doesnt mean he cant help us hacks.

Cheers for the info on the 'other' Smith, Spence. He does sound like a good coach. I've already begun lessons with Paul so I'll see this through now. He's got his work cut out for him though with this hack, I'll be putting in my signed scorecards in a couple weeks for my first official handicap, reckon I'll be starting somewhere between 25-30!

Many thanks

There's also Craig Bishop, he's Curtis Luck's coach, and has just won Coach of the Year award for WA... but he's south of the river. Well worth it, though I think he won't be available in April! B)

Great bloke too!!

Yup, and so knowledgeable, he's really transformed my swing through simple and effective drills. I'm not sure I would bother with a teacher without at least a launch monitor and a proper camera to be honest, not that Craig uses a lot, but there are a few flaws (I had) that could only be picked up with those tools, plus others that were obvious!

One of the few coaches with a TGM qualification.

Yes and he doesn't get too technical, he knows how to keep it simple. I'm a fan!

Though it would be even more awesome if he had an outdoor setting

Craig will be carrying the bag for Curtis and this years Masters. Lets hope the WA duo can make good at Augusta!
