Played this course for the first time in all my years visiting the Gold Coast in Jan 2017, $59 with a cart prior to 7am $79 after. Dropped our bags at bag drop and headed to the pro shop paid got our cart but couldn't take it to bag drop not allowed for insurance reasons so carried bags to cart. A long wait as it was ladies day so headed to the practice green. My mate said "if this is the practice green I wonder what the rest of them are gonna be like" it was a disgrace thankfully the greens on the course we're very good. Not so the bunkers. After a bit of rain the day before they were under water or unplayable. On playing the course I soon understood why the slope ratings for tees were soo high 132 blue. It is a very challenging course and you need to consider every shot placement. Dog legs right and left, water carries and blind shots not to mention the trees. A magnificent par 3 down hill over water 150m is a great looking hole. The course has many roos and is surrounded by homes. The club house is nice with small menu and beverages at reasonable prices. Beers on tap were a bit of a problem and not much choice.

Difficult to understand why this course would be asking for around $3300 for membership with cart $2700 walking and $500 joined fee with the competition around the Gold Coast

For golfers who like a challenge go for it

Do you know if many of the greens are temporary or are they back on their proper greens?

I think they all fully reopened in December.

Can't recieve the amount of rainfall the Gold Coast has in the past week and expect bunkers not to have water in them.... We only had 42mm up this way and water laid in our bunkers for two days.

Tell us abou how receptive the new greens are. Speed, smoothness. Things like that.
