Funnily enough, I reckon there is something to this. Played really well with the marked-up Vision Blue - best I have hit the ball for ages.

You get used to it,,, its not not a single blob / mud spot effect at all its very interesting, the Dots I do

and Flowers have the same effect and you just get used to it,,,,but its not for everyone.

There are two advantages - firstly, the ball appears 'bigger' than an unmarked white ball. It is an optical illusion to do with depth-perception associated with how our brain processes 'white' colours, and the addition of the blobs (be they pentagons or dots/flowers) deceives our brain into believing the ball is bigger.

Secondly, there is always a 'blob' at the back of the ball to focus on. This allows you to concentrate on an actual segment of the ball, rather than just the ball in general. I found that this assisted my concentration.

And thirdly (I know that I said there were two), it looks cool when you get a ball to spin big time with a wedge :)

Trying to locate these golf balls in Brisbane. Have done some hunting but haven't found them and can't see them on the Aussie online stores.

Looking for some help from anyone who has bought them in Brisbane as to where you got hem. Cheers

send a PM to JRG he uses the Callaway ball with same markings in red.

maybe he can direct you where to get them.

Not sure if this helps but The Golf Factory appears to be selling them, although it doesn't look like the yellow/black.
