There'd be some interesting changes to the all honoured post count if that were the case.
The best part would be that no one would know if anyone cared about typos.

I'd just go in and edit the errors to avoid anyone's embarrassment.

There's so little 'action' in here today, perhaps it has already happened.

Or is it simply that all the 'noisy' ones are busy at Torquay today?

I don't know. Sound like owners of threads having some control could be useful.

I do find it frustrating at times trying to read serious threads (especially in the rules forum) and you have to filter through all the inside jokes to find the answer you're looking for.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was just the odd comment but every thread seems to be 50% nonsense most of the time.

You must be reading the more serious threads if it's only at 50%.

Don't start me on the classifieds section.

Thanks our platform doesnt allow the individual threads for what I can see-

An option is to block regular abusers of it which will clean up many of the threads. Our problem is it tends to be friends doing int in friends threads and hard to know which is serious and which is nowt at times.

Rules threads have been much better in recent months.

You should get a golf marketing partner with some savvy tech skills to control these threads.
