JJ ,,, would this type of ball performance get you to spend more money than you are currently paying for the HexBites? Cheers, Boz

Hi Boz,

Probably not, as I usually buy balls on sale, one of the best one's I have used was one of yours from ~ 5 years ago when you were sending the big packs for ~ $40, it was Pink in colour, had a good feel and seemed to fly off woods and irons and was pretty good around the green...

Cheers

JJ

I know this post is from about 10 months ago.

I agree with this.

I got one of Boz's packages from years ago. I'm a high handicapper and really don't have much feel. I just hit the ball and hope that it goes where I aim, so I don't know how well this comment will be received.

The little I do know is I also found the Pink balls out of this pack seemed to play the best for some reason.

The pink ball was long as hell, but felt like a rock.

A few people used to swap over from another ball to the pink of on the long drove holes

I've received 2 Forte prototype1 balls.
Royal Pines is likely to be the first chance I'll get with them.
If not, TP5s it is.

Had 2 x Forte Prototype1 balls turn up in the mail today and remarkably an email with a survey attached as to how I find the balls.  Strange seeing as how I rejected the first offer.  I suppose I will just have to complete the survey and tell them that their balls don't float.

Got mine yesterday.  Haven't used one yet but the bounce test on the concrete floor in the shed seems to indicate that they are very "soft".  They have a very muted "click" quieter than Z-Star, FG Tour, TP5 or ProV.

Very keen to give them a crack - I like a golf ball that feels soft off the clubface.

Amazing..... who would have ever thought that 5 different balls of different construction would all sound different when bounced off concrete.
