Played 9 holes today with the tour performance S against a bridgestone.

Spin was a smidgen better around the greens

Putting feel was good.

Happy to give them another go

Bridgestone E6

Got another question Seve if you don't mind,,, the Tour S is in the $40's the E6 is cheaper so is it worth more.

There is another ball that is cheaper than the E6 the SS3 that might actually be very close to he E6 at $31.00

after talking with some players over at FB,,,,,

The S33 might be closer in numbers.

But more than happy to give the Tour S a go.

Quite a few members on the other forum have jumped onto the offer, and a lot of them really like the TP - the soft 3 piece ball.

I have ordered a dozen of them to continue my trial in looking for a alternative to a pro v......... fairly happy with them thus far.

Not a fan of the Apex, the 6 piece ball.

Did you find it heavy/ hard? With the 3 piece would you prefer different markings ,,,,branding style?

Played 9 with the Tour Performance S also playing a Chrome Soft and a Bridgestone Tour B330 for a few holes. Found the TPS a bit softer than the CS and a lot softer than the 330. Distance wise I personally found them a little shorter than the CS and a bit more shorter than the 330.

I think that will be the compromise ,,, the lower overall compression isn't going to max out distances

being very soft and with a forgiving feel even on dud shots does come with a cost ,,,,,

I didn't like the sound / feel of the Apex.

Yes, would prefer a different side marketing that made putting alignment easier.

I'm no ball guru, but so far everything you have described about what you like in the TPS and the things you would like as alignment tools and no loss of distance.. = Vision TP Red. Boz would of course be in a better position to advise on manufacture and playing comparisons or the two.  I'll send you a couple if you are interested in trying them for your own comparisons.
