Selling your trophy?????

Just read the OP. I haven't visited a Drummond Golf store in 5 or more years. I think there are much better deals elsewhere.
I got chummy once with a Drummond manager and was shown behind the veil of B.S. I remember him laughing about their sales where the prices on floor stock is slashed. He was laughing that all the good equipment is moved into the store room and the low value goods that they want to move are left on the floor. A smoke and mirrors retail trick.

I only buy from Drummond if I know exactly what I want and the price is right. I do not trust the local guy to give honest advice. Rather go to Golf World where the advice on product is generally slightly understated rather than exaggerated.

I am certain that asking for the Wilson glove that was advertised at $9.77 would have got you a much better result. No need to be cryptic with the sales staff.

Drummond specials are laughable.
Adidas Adipower Boost 2 shoes on special @ $191. I just bought mine from GolfBox for $140 and didn't have to leave the couch.

Cant help myself ... have to comment here.
Was in the local Drummond store last weekend, during the Masters ... "Sale"
Bloke in there, in the nets, with a top range driver.
Now, I'm no golfing swing genius, but, it was obvious this guy was a hacker. Heck, the screen, which was behind the player well outside his view, was showing the ball going left and right - sheesh, if it didn't know better it was a recording of my usual round!
The whole time, old mate, the sales guy, is saying "geez you got that one, it went 270" .. or "nice one, it's gone 275"
You got the idea.
Dude proceeds to buy the club.
I wander over and take a close look at the screen.
Measurements in yards ... total estimated distance. Not carry.
Oh, and for those of you who haven't read all my diatribe in the introductions thread ... I'm speaking from experience. I bought a 580XD from Golfworld back in 2005 and have spent the last 12 years trying to work out how the F*&^ to hit it on the range and on the course (where the actual flight is "real")
