Personally I find saying the f word gives my mouth and tongue a pleasant sensation. The louder I say it the better my diaphragm seems to work. In print it doesn't look much different to "folk", maybe even better. Some people struggle with English and suffer mental blocks in expressing their feelings when frustrated, in pain, in pleasure, in anger etc. The f word helps them out.

If it is accepted on Facebook, there must be a reason why it is not offensive on that application.

Once again private pages and groups so they set the standard. ISG owners set the standards here.

I wouldnt say the courts have a much of a standard in this case just have to be legal and all from a public standpoint which includes many in society that think its ok to use expletives such as the F bomb.

Societal values have changed which is allowing this.

PS I do think you are a terribly good troll with the various posts you start such as this one~

Mythbusters did a segment on whether swearing after you hurt yourself actually made the pain not so painful......

Turns out it's true!!

I showed that segment to my kids so that when they hurt themselves they could swear all they wanted, just as long as I didn't hear them cry....

The bride called me every name under the sun, and told me to stop filling the kids heads with such rubbish. But all the swearing she did at me didn't stop my feelings from getting hurt.....
