Ahhhhh....the garsen grip...forgot all about that one. It's probably about 12 months, 97 miracle solutions, and around 4500 putts ago*

*putts estimated at 2 rounds per week, 45 putts per round. This statistic is entirely fabricated...and thus has earned its place in a Mouldy-generated thread. The judge's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

I have a number of putters with Superstroke grips on. Doesn't help.

EDIT last putter used before reverting to Lajosi was a Rife 2 bar with a Superstroke grip.

Who's winning ?
Barra
XXXX
Bundy

How can you possibly have a wristy stroke if you have a big **** off fat grip on?

Couple of Barra, minimal 4x and no bundy.
Great Northern and homebrew rum are definitely winning.

Hinchinbrook island catching Barra.

other than playing golf it doesn't get much better then that.

Enjoy it Mark. it was too windy here this weekend for golf or fishing.

having a big barra on end of line is so much fun.

Have a look on page 177 and P 381 of Dave Pelz putting Bible.

there is a guy Billy Rockwell who uses one arm and guides the blade with his toe. he got through to final rounds in 1997 world putting championship.

I've seen the photos.  Means there are many different and out there solutions for all sorts of disabilities.  Even mine I can hope.

Rob

what are your putting goals and objectives. In other words by changing your grip what are you attempting to achieve.?

You have told us you think you are a crap putter.

how do you define crap putting ?,

how do you define good putting?

how do you know if you have putted well in a round.?

what is your measurement?

quite simply having no 3 jabs from inside 30' and no misses inside 3'.

that will give me 32 putts per round or less

Old school says grip the putter down the lifelines.  More recent opinions suggest better control by gripping with the fingers.

For me on the carpet it does seem to quieten the wrists.

Thoughts and opinions.

I use the right hand low, well down the shaft and use the fingers for feel for the length of putt. Imagine a lawn bowls action with a golf ball in the fingers, except you are holding the putter shaft.
It's not a perfect solution, but I can't see straight anyway with specs on.

Mouldy's penchant for changing styles, grips, and even the side of the putter that he stands on, indicate very clearly that:

- He knows he has problems on the green

- He has no farkin idea exactly what the problem is

- He has no inclination/and or ability to stick to any new method for more than 15 mins

- He genuinely believes there is a silver bullet solution that will solve every putting related issue within 30 seconds. This magic unicorn dust solution will also mean he inconstantly becomes elevated to PGA Tour ability with a putter in hand.
