Get on the Facebook Buy Swap Sell page and post asking for options, plenty of X flex stuff gets sold there.

Saw an AD DI 6X on there today for $100. Not what you want though really, but plenty of guys sell after market shafts there so I'm sure you could find something that would suit.

Reasonably mid/high spin shaft.

As GolfGuy mentioned, jump on the Nunchuk wagon.
I had one in my R11 a while ago the GG built for me.

Waa very good, but i just got bored after 12 months

I have a similar problem to the OP - spinning my drives up 3500rpm+

I went from a Srixon Z545 10.5* with a stock Kuro Kage shaft in a stiff flex to a Ping G LS Tec with a Matrix Ozik HD10 in a X Stiff flex.  Only played a couple of rounds but I seem to have a lot better control over my drives.

I got fitted for my new combo.

Why do people blame the golf shaft for creating high spin? Why not blame the clubhead? Is is not the clubhead that compresses the ball and creates the spin?

What about the player's release pattern through impact? An unstable release (where the clubface angle is changing rapidly) will create a much higher spin rate than a stable release (minimum angle change).

Its both in combination not one or the other. So people require more spin and others less. It is why i ask for best driver/shaft combo not just one or the other.

The players swing also has plenty to do with this without doubt. Some very good points.

So after months of research and testing it was narrowed down to two drivers. The Ping G SF tec and titleist 917 D3. The only issue was Ping wanted $400 more for the shaft i liked the HZRDUS black which ruled it out for budget reasons. So the 917 D3 won out and it lowered my spin by around 1000rpm over my old Razr Fit Extreme. Should arrive just before or after Xmas 16

My post was directed at the posts about shafts only. The Titty D3 is a good choice - I will die with mine.

The attached article is about as comprehensive as it gets on the subject. It is quite long but worth the read.

Ha ha i had the driver set at 11* in test and was hitting hit higher than i hit my current driver which is a razr extreme 10.5* with a rip alpha x so i was happy. The HZRDUS felt amazing @RobNewy. I generally like low launch low spin shafts like grafalloy blue, rip alpha, matrix black tie etc
