Going over many posts on this topic, there are a lot of people who have Royal Melbourne on their list. I am very frustrated that no matter how hard I try, they won't let me play. Has anyone got some inside information that could help me achieve a dream? Also, my latest update is now 243 courses played, after playing Club Mandalay today.

Charity golf days are your best bet if you not from interstate.

Thanks. I turned 58 yesterday, so that might work. Do you have to have a low handicap?

not at all have a look at the vicgolf website and some of the senior events do have a G.A limit of 24.7 (daily handicap of 27) there is a mix of low handicap and mid and higher handicap players. Royal Melbourne is slated for about August in 2018.

I love playing golf, but I'm not very good! Until now! I just retired & about to give my 22 handicap a run for it's money. Have consistently played to it or better for the last month now & won a couple of comps. Also just had a lesson & it's all starting to come together! Watch this space!
