Much like the HFSYHYD thread, i recently purchased an M2 15* 3 wood. Unsure of how far I generally hit the ball with a three wood, today managed to strike three great drives with it today.

Drove the ball 230 metres,
Lasered by the club captain.

What distance do the rest of you achieve from your 3 wood??????

Nope. Wasn't hitting driver at all back then. Figured a solid 74 out of the 3w was enough.

At Sandhurst a few weeks ago I drilled my 3wd 210m off the tee. That was measured with my S1 gps watch and with a right to left wind.

I probably average about 215-220 but I do have my days when I am knocking it a bit further.. Piped it 265m off the tee a couple of weeks ago with favourable conditions.

Not sure it was 270. It might have trickled into his shin from 250m out.
