Favourites over the years (too hard to choose order)

1.Magenta - played here last year and was extremely impressed. Greens are like concrete though.

Horizons (15 yrs ago) - fond memories of this course when it first opened

Concord - used to be a member - great track, tee positions and pin placements can be evil.

Woodlands - first sand belt course i played. The whole course is like a green.

Tuncurry - used to be a member so may be bias, but one of the best country courses i've ever played.

NSW - Only played a handful of times, but it's pretty special.

St Micks - Similar to NSW

Australian - Boring course IMO but the condition and manicuredness of it was impressive.

Cabramatta - Great course that's not really mentioned much.

The Coast - Favourite risk/reward type course. You can go low if your hitting your numbers and targets, but if you miss....ouch

Nelsons Bay - If you want to learn to hit it straight, play here..

It's been a bit over 2 years since I replied to this topic but I have played a lot more courses since. I am still from Vic & haven't played many Sydney courses, so be gentle on me!

1-Bonville

2-Murray Downs

3-Coffs Harbour (East Lakes)

4-Coffs Harbour (The Lakes)

5-Mollymook

6-Corowa(Old 18)

7-Narooma

8-Tallwoods

9-Cobram Barooga (Old 18)

10-Camden Lakeside

11-Thurgoona

12-Corowa (1-9,19-27)

13-Yarrawonga (Murray)

14-Yarrawonga (Lake)

15-Hume Country Club (1-18 Old) Doesn't Exist now

I hope that someone is interested!

Narooma is hard to rate because it has 2 exceptional holes (2 and 3) and a good back nine but 5 or 6 holes that you could find anywhere. I think Tallwoods and Thurgoona are on more interesting pieces of land than Cobram and Corowa and I haven't played it for a long time but remember really liking Yarrawonga (Murray).

Can't argue with Bonville and Murray Downs. Loved both of them.

Played a lot of courses on the NSW North Coast of late & unless you are one of the courses that can afford lots of water, the rest are starting to dry out a bit. A good inch of rain is needed big time.
