It's quite legit, Rob. And I keep my equipment tucked out of sight.

It may well be legit, but you were talking about unusual. Not legit

I looked very seriously at it about 4 months ago.

It requires no tagging, just bluetooth pared to your iphone.

It works out what is a practice swing and doesnt count them. There is a big algorithmic formula they use. I was emailing them back and forth for a couple of weeks.

I think its better than GameGolf just for ease of use. The internet reviews agree.

The only eeason i didnt get it is because it relies on Google Maps, and my course isnt on there yet

Thanks Rob

Does it calculate the wind, the lie, the topography of the shot to target, the best trajectory, etc etc? Does it provide anything that a player can't calculate by himself? Or is it a software caddy of sorts?

Not sure, but I know it doesn't measure the supination of the right forearm in the backswing so it's pretty useless really.

Sure did - I love it
You can review your round shot by shot
And it gives you ranges for your clubs so you know what you are actually hitting them!

There's a new model out which is more accurate apparently - but I'm happy with the old one for a while yet

Very cool software

Thanks mate. Im looking at the 2.0 actually.

But it still doesnt look like Eastern is mapped yet.

Is it pretty reliable? Dont need to edit any/many shots post round?

Why would it do that?

It is pretty good - but there is always a bit of review required - especially putts as it is hard for it to calculate exactly how many you have

It's probably more fun and interesting than anything - although the shot distances are useful

But over time it builds up more and more info on your misses and GIRs and fairways and so on which will be helpful for understanding your game

One of the cool features is it calculates your handicap for different parts of your game sonupu know your strengths and weaknesses

I like the way you think.
