Not sure, and for what I'm talking about not relevant. Surely the basics can be achieved at any club?

If they can't achieve the basics then one wonders how they attract members?

maintenance budget relevant to amount of money they have each year. If it's a $1k+ annual fee you would expect decent conditions or if lower fee then you get what you pay for. Could be bad time of year to grow grass??;)

Surely greens are priority #1?

Just so you know Kyrgios, worked at a club for 13 years where the greens were the only decent surfaces all year round. Still didn't stop people slagging off on course reviews, because at the end of the day stupid golfers only remember the worst about a place that's rough as guts. Don't matter a fcuk how good the greens are.

Good thing is it's all the same for ever body on the day.

One of the top ranked sandbelt clubs in Adelaide

Well then Metro in Oakleigh would surely spend as much !

I would say so if not more. 1.5 - 2 million is pretty common for Tier 1 clubs with 12 - 15 green staff

Our pro is ex GM at Lakelands, and back in 2007-10, course budget was 20,000:00 per week.
