Madam,  I just wanted to tip in to say that even though you have copped a bit for it, I for one appreciate the site taking a stronger stance on moderation recently.   There are forums on this site which I don't visit at all by choice, and I really don't like it when all the "jokey" sexist and sexualised banter invades the more serious forums.

I am sure that there will be many comments suggesting that this is soft, but I would actually like to continue to be a part of the forum, so I appreciate that you are trying to keep things on an even keel.

I am making this post because you cop some stick from the people who might be shut down for this, but I can speak for at least one person (me) who appreciates it.

thanks Deege it's tough at times to find the right balance to keep the place interesting and we have to let things play out in some cases. I don't get it right every time but try to be fair which is tough with the diversity of people we have in here. Much of it is friendly banter " I think" and a fine line.

My analogy is a pub with many rooms and different conversations occurring. Come and join in otherwise move to a different room. People don't have to move around and create distractions in what normally are good discussions. Just plain rude

Thanks for taking time for comments and look forward to seeing you at nationals.

I agree, it does get out of hand and we should be more aware that we are trying to introduce children to golf. I for one would not allow a child of mine to be on ISG at present.
