Played the Glades today.
Was good but not great, greens a bit disappointing , needed rolling, allot of little holes/plug marks.
The front nine lacked signage to indentify each hole.

Happy I didn't loose a ball & only found one bunker!

Would play there again but nothing to rave about.

Anyone played Helensvale recently?
I know it's not a championship course but have a mate wanting to play whom hasn't played for a few years & thought Helensvale maybe suitable for him before playing a course like Hope Island etc..

I played it several weeks ago only 9 holes.  Its fun nothing amazing but a nice day out. Other side of the spectrum compared to Links.

Try Parkwood?

Helensvale would probably be the biggest goat track on the coast. Comparing that to Hope Island would be like comparing bronwin Bishop to Jessica Alba. As madam said, parkwood is a reasonable course that isn't to tough. Same with surfers paradise.
