Can’t complain about that - it’s well deserved

Appreciate the icing

What's your cap point?

As I'm not out playing, I figured I'd go through last Thursday's Senior Pennant match, against Ringwood, played at Beacy.

I'm off 17, he's off 24, so I have to give him 7 strokes.  We played holes 10 to 27 (back half of the Hills then the Lakes 9).  We go out in fours, I'm number 5, playing with the 6s.

So the way I read this, you forgot to play the extra 9 holes from the 19th to the 27th on the Hills course ? ( must be the secret nine everybody talks about )

What happened did you take a wrong turn on the cart path or did you contrive to waive the rules and only play your match over only 18 holes ?

Strange sort of handicap matchplay event when you've had plenty of time to give us a detailed summary over a supposed 27 holes and still fcuk-up the " senior pennant " report of the week !

Jon...

ps: don't do the ninja edit either, you'll just end up looking like a bigger, educated goose.

Have you been sniffing the glue, Jon?

Pennant is over 18 holes, not 27.

Holes 19 - 27 at Beacy are the Lakes course, not part of the Hills course.

First hole (10th), par 5, halved it with 6s.

I quote you directly Fabulous, " We played holes 10 to 27 " ( " back half of the Hills then the Lakes 9 " )

" First hole ( 10th Hills ? ) par 5, halved it with 6s "

Do you see the Obvious error of your ways yet ?

Jon...

No Jon, I don't.

Beacy has 27 holes. Holes 1 to 18 comprise the "Hills" course. Holes 19 to 27 comprise the "Lakes" course.

Apparently Jon does.

But Fatprick, there is no obligation on you to read this.

Even Carlton has some followers, don't they?

Why does he take some days off?

Obviously I'm lazier than he is. But I have other things to do. Like today, with supermarkets this morning, a little housework, then drinks with the guys this arvo. Golf tomorrow through to Sunday, although it may be too wet on Fri, then Mon off.
