Well I am back.

The past 12-18 months have been an adventure to say the least.

In and out of hospital, got a new job, got made redundant, went overseas and back working again now.

Got engaged, moved house, got a dog etc etc.

Most importantly I am fighting fit and never been better.

I have made some great friendships on here.

Some I have met and others only spoken with.

There are many of you who I have let down over the past year or so and I just want to say sorry and look forward to meeting up soon for a hit.

I have played 9 holes in the last 18 months.

I had some golf gear stolen from my garage when we moved last year and had to sell the rest.

I have ordered some new gear.

Got a new putter.

Got a new bag.

Got new shoes.

I got a new shaft for my driver, kept the old head.

Kept my 4 Wood.

My hybrid, irons and wedges are being delivered today.

I am joining the same club as my Dad so I can start playing with him at least once a week.

My health is great, my weight is coming down and never been happier.

Most importantly I have a great group of friends, wonderful fiancée and a terrific family.

You realize in tough times that your loved ones are all that matters.

Look forward to seeing you on the course soon.

BarnEsy, I am due to beat your arse!

Did you get new socks?

Some dude here got new socks.

They weren't described in any real detail, though.

Which was disappointing.
