I've just been trolling thru some of the forum areas that I'd usually never look at and how slow/boring.
To my dismay some of the signatures of our members are getting very long and boring. Is it a total waste of screen space or am I wrong ?
Can I suggest that 10 lines of signage be the maximum allowed and anything currently greater be reduced after a healthy debate ?
Anyone with more than 10 lines atm should not be encouraged to enter this debate, until we have a consensus formulated.
Just wondering, say no more, nothing to see hear, etc.

I've found the hide signatures check box after 3 years of being on here.

I like the links to people's golflink handicaps but have decided I'd rather miss out in those than to read or scroll past the drivel.

I am glad I found the hiding signature ignore feature.

I don't know enough people on here to worry what they say, maybe it would be a way to get to know them more but I guess I will have to find another way

Likewise. It seems pretty pointless for people to write a one line response when their signature is 40 lines long. I've chosen to hide most signatures now.

Jon, hide signatures.  It saves a heap of time.

This may be an anathema to some, but personally I vote for limiting signature length, for the simple reason that it is probably off putting for newbs or potential newbs.

Long signatures, full of crap, are ridiculous.
Limit the length, or cull them completely.
