Yeah you might be able to swim, but no powered boats allowed....

I don't know how much rain is needed to fill it but it has to be a farking lot.....

In the meantime my home track is looking like it has been in a frying pan.... we have managed to maintain the greens and the tees .... everything else is shite

That's bad,,spoke to my bud from Walgett today and things are a tad, only marginally worse there.  They are bringing in tankered water as of Monday because they no longer have any natural supplu. .. :(

Coona town is now being supplied totally by bore water.... town dam is at a level where it is not viable for use.... that is fark all of nothing....
I know I've been going on all year about how dry it is but is now at the really desperate stakes....
I spoke to a mate on the land last night... he is, sorry was a really well prepared farmer, he had enough resources around him to take on a usual drought... but that has all gone and has spent a truckload of money on buying in feed... he is a successful farmer but he said last night he is just so tired... feeding, checking water, feeding, checking water... and getting nowhere...
Basically when it rains and there is feed and water on his farms he is going to sit down a good bottle of scotch and ask himself can he go through such an event again .....
I think he has already decided

Bloody hot today. It got to 45° in my back garden while I was happily sitting inside with the aircon keeping things at a mild 24°.

Then the power failed, just after 1:00 pm. The house got hotter until it reached 29°, by which time at had cooled to 30° outside, then back up to 34°.

Power finally restored @ 7:50. Still trying to cool the house but definitely more comfortable now.

Frozen food hadn't defrosted, so all is well again.

Roast up your cat, knock back a few drinks and go for drive with the air con on in your car.
