Just cleared my rain gauge for April: 23mm

And all you Mexicans (nearer the equator) claim it is too cold and wet down here.

Hmmm that is a lot more than here...

2.4mm this month

25.0mm last month

It is as dry as .....  ......!!!!!!

I was going to play golf today, but the forecast was for hail, thunderstorms, gale force wind, etc. so I pulled the plug at 7:30 this morning, despite fine, clear weather.

The radar showed some rain to the south and heading east. But I chickened out anyway.  There was a heap of overnight rain (19mm in the gauge) but all gone by sun up.

We still have heaps of sunshine, a few cumulus specimens above but nothing serious.  There's a gentle breeze but no more.  The radar shows rain curling up from around the Heads and it might get here later.

I'll be really pissed off if it doesn't bucket down by midday.  I could have been out there instead of rabbiting on in here.

I think someone mentioned something the other day about how it isn't cold and wet down there south of the border.

I'd have to go back and do a search to see who said it

that day was still unreal. I was looking out my window at work that day and there was blue skies as far as I could see, yet there were players on one particular tv set wearing snorkels it was that bad.

It wasn't cold and wet when previously mentioned.

It is a bit cold today (10° now), but not bloody wet. Just a few dark clouds. We could have happily played today.

BOM tells me that this feeling will be sort lived this week though

I will still have to get them out ready just in case

I've just had a weekend at Tocumwal on the Murray.
A fine trip up on Fri morning but we had rain on & off for the afternoon practice round.

Both Sat and Sun were excellent. Some cloud, to be expected in winter, but gentle wind, some sun and mild temperatures, even early Sunday.

The trip home today started fine, had odd patches of drizzle in mid-Victoria, and sunny weather to arrive home in.

From the descriptions of other's weekend golfing pursuits, it seems you guys had it tough down here.

Looking forward to tomorrow's round, but Jane has suggested it might be miserable weather out there.

Flying up to Darwin this week to escape Melbourne weather. Apparently they have two types of weather up there hot and hot and wet.
