From The Bloodhound Gang:

"Woman are like dog poo,
The older that they get, the easier they are to pick up"

Man those lyrics take me back to my youth......

Sometimes when we're as close as this,
It's like we're in a dream
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

Greetings to the New Brunette: Billy Bragg

It's a mighty long way down rock 'n roll
From Top of the Pops to drawing the dole
If no one seems to understand
Start your own revolution and cut out the middleman
In a perfect world we'd all sing in tune
But this is reality so give me some room
So join the struggle while you may
The revolution is just a tee shirt away
Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards: Billy Bragg

Took a ride on a bin-train
50 cars or more
They say the heads are just insane
But it's too risky to score
Andrea's been giving me a towel down
Standing on a palm beach shore
If 'n' those girls keep a doin' that thing
I can't wait for next year
I'm gonna come back for more

Daughters of the Northern Coast: Australian Crawl

Couple of extras today that got me going.

Out here nothin changes, not in a hurry anyway.
You feel the endlessness coming with the light of day.
You're talking bout a chosen place,
You wouldn't sell it in a marketplace, well.

Well just a minute now.

Goanna- Solid Rock

So if I could I'd wish it all away
If I thought tomorrow, would take you away.
You're my piece of mind, my home, my centre
I'm just tryna hold on, one more day.
Dim my eyes. Dim my eyes.
Dim my eyes if they should compromise our fulcrum

If wants and needs divide me then I might as well be gone.

Tool- Jambi

Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?
Remember how she said that
we would meet again some sunny day?

Vera, Vera, What has become of you?
Does anybody else in here feel the way I do?

Vera- Pink Floyd.

Wonder how many songs contain the word fulcrum?

Mostly it has been a lot of Alter Bridge. A lot of downs in the last few years losing grand parents and aunty along with a few things in the last 15 months and a lot of the songs resonated at different times with this. The ones below are at those times and probably a bit on the down side but still fantastic songs.

My son is a huge Alter Bridge fan - and music is his release from the weight as well

Shish, Vera Lynn. She used to entertain the troops on the front line during the Second World War.

The song is we'll meet again don't know where don't know when but we'll meet again some sunny day.

This was her signature song, very popular entertainer in her time, don't make them like that anymore.

And you have the cheek to rib me about the 1930s. :P
