I hope I am not speaking out of place here, but I believe that one of our brethren, Pom, has suffered a devastating loss today.

If this is the case then certainly my thoughts are with you mate as I'm sure are those of all of the ISG family.

Wow!  You stay away from the place for a week or so & the place goes ballistic.

I have just spent the last hour, after seeing this thread for the first time, Chatting with Peg & trying to figure out what to say in response to all these messages of support.

Some of you guys I have played golf with. Some I only know from the Forum. Regardless it is humbling to find that I have this much support from fellow I seekers.

   So, Here goes.

Monday 2 weeks ago I had a Heart attack. Not a big one although my doctor tells me there is no such thing as a small hear attack.I spent 4 days in hospital where todays wonderful technology fixed me up. ( A bit more to come there.) Whilst there I was visited by 37 year old son and partner amongst others.

I was released from hospital on the Thursday. I was back in there Friday afternoon visiting same son. 8 months ago he was diagnosed with inoperable Liver Cancer & given 12 months to 2 years.  Friday night he was given a few Hours. Ho fought it out for another week. That would have to be one of the longest weeks in my life.

Today we said goodbye at the Funeral. Another extremely tough day.

Now, I guess , We just have to get on with the rest of our lives.

Thank you one and all for your messages of support. It is truly appreciated.
