Another missed cut for Adam Scott; his putting average continues to plummet (193rd in strokes gained putting). Does anyone think he's got another major in him?

His putting is rubbish with the cheat stick. Given he feels that he putts better with that (or he wouldn't have switched back) it doesn't bode well for post 1/1/16.

Based on how he's putting at the moment, I'd reckon 2016 can't come quickly enough.

Plenty of excellent golfers have never won a Major at all.

I doubt that it's possible. 3 stab from 3 feet last week?

One major is still one more than the combined total of all posters on this forum.

He won his first major at the age of 33.  Ben Hogan didn't win his first major until 34, the same age as Arnold Palmer won his last. People mature at different ages, so perhaps a bit early to be writing him off just yet, he still seems to be hitting it ok

Big difference is Hogan and Palmer could putt. No one is questioning how well Scotty hits it tee to green; it's once he's on the green that his problems start. He needs to have complete layoff from tournament golf and spend a couple of months with a coach who can reinvent his putting technique.

I thought he was putting ok with the short stick. Then for some reason he switched back for the masters. If he honestly thinks he's going alright with the long putter then he's an idiot.

Never rated him anyway. Day > Scott
