I agree with Mouldy re the bunkers.

 

I would consider my bunker skills to be at least average...and what I can't stand are bunkers that are effectively no more than thin dirt. In my experience, a lot of Keysie's bunkers (and not just Keysie) fall into that category.

I've come to really enjoy the consistency of the sand in most of Keysie's bunkers.

They're usually quite hard packed and there's really only one or two traps I'm concerned to find myself in due to a regular lack of sand in them.

 

When I play courses with fluffier sand I tend to struggle more with distance control and have to remind myself to use a 56 rather than my go to 60

Nah. Have the life jacket fastened and will stay with the sinking ship.

 

Must say in my experience I agree re the bunkers though. Greenside on 16 and 8 for example were great, front left on 10 and left greenside on 12 were terrible though by comparison. That was a few years ago though.

 

They are hazards at the end of the day though. It's not meant to be easy.
