I'd like to pick you up on a technicality there, I could have walked to Melbourne and back to pick it up.

does it look like i'd skip a chance for lunch, let alone a free one?!?

but yes please, will you be right to take some time off for lunch during your day?

Technical point noted, but, could you also have fit in a few rounds of golf if you'd walked?

Is that because you have it, and can therefore play a round of golf with it?

It allows me to just enjoy the thrill of hitting off the tee with confidence.

So, time to blow away these stinkin' cobwebs and get it happening in here again.

Obviously I went noticeably quiet on the excitement of getting my new driver hitty stick. This is because it did get declared lost by the courier on the third leg of it's journey. It turned out to be a conveluted process, but that was going to be all worth it for the coin I was paying. Anyway, I do want to pay a massive homage to the brother from another mother who was helping me out with this and going way beyond to get this shiit sorted.

Enough of that, well actually, if anyone does see a new M1 with a red coloured shaft in their travels, that was meant for me.

But, as of yesterday, from a new courier I have the little weapon my hand, which in one sense that it was now and not before last week is ok.

I was out at Toowoomba for my thesis presentation and there is a new driving range at the City Golf Club, I have been going out to the TBar for many years now and I am glad that there is a range there again, before I went I looked it up on the website and thought it looked a little bit little for what I expected a driving range to be... I arrive at the range between the conference sessions with my full bag, pay for a big bucket of 120 balls and walk to collect the bucket to read a sign that says no driver or woods. So I spent 120 balls hitting some full irons, but lots and lots of knock downs.

This is the range, showing how damn dry it is up there

so, it also been about 4 years since I have been able to play with my original foursome of Dad, Jonesey and Thommo, but for a birthday celebration and to use my new stick, I am playing at North Lakes this Sunday!

This makes me happy in my feelings parts because I missed out on the SEQ game last weekend and I am pretty happy with my form, especially with the new club in my hands

Don't forget to try all 7,435 different weight combinations, only to revert back to stock because that's how it performed best.
